Unity Through Labor

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Ahora es el tiempo. It is the time to rise up out of the darkness. For years we have been overshadowed by the oligarchy, but now light shines upon us. It is the time of the people. Not the time of the few, but of the masses. People of Argentina, we are now entering a new era! People shall have unity and the oppressed will receive the dignity they deserve.

I have seen all the pain and suffering you have faced, laborers of Argentina! Much time and effort from your part has gone for too long unnoticed. As your president I promise that you who work the land and you who work in factories will receive the rights and recognition that you deserve. You who labor will now receive a wage that matches up with your work. A fair wage is hard to find, but as President I will ensure that you receive a moral and material reward that will fulfill your need and compensate your efforts. I will also work to ensure that working conditions are proper and substantial for those who labor. We can no longer allow our people to work in unsuitable and unsafe conditions. Their dignity should be in full consideration!

I seek to improve the economic situation in Argentina. A great divide has appeared between the rich and the poor and this divide needs to be closed. Our people need to be uplifted out of their poverty. They need to be ensured a job and have their right to work fulfilled, so they can work towards their own private prosperity and towards the general prosperity. I look forward to the day when the divide between the rich and poor is closed. I hope that when this divide closes, one single class will rise up. A class unified by their labor and their work towards a better Argentina.

I know that some of you find it hard to trust those in power. Our past presidents have seemed distant and not among the people. I can tell you that I am not like those presidents. I live among my people. I share your pains and I share your joys. I understand your desires for better working conditions and livable wages. Let me say now that I work for you, similar to the way you work for Argentina. I am man of the people.

The democracy of Argentina has not always lived up to a true democracy. The government has failed to represent the people. For too long the government has only carried out the will of the oligarchs. That is why under my presidency I seek to create a democracy that carries out the will of the people and defends their interests. Argentina needs to become a country that protects all people, especially the workers, not just the rich and elite.

Argentina needs to move forward. We can no longer linger around in the background. We have been held back for so long due to our lack of unity. The elite prosper while the workers live in poverty. That is why Argentina needs reform. Without reform, unity cannot be achieved. Without unity, the nation of Argentina will be divided and weak. We will tolerate this no longer! Class division needs to end. I look forward to the day when Argentines do not measure their success by the amount of money they have, but by the progress and success of their people and country.

I am here for you people of Argentina! For too long you have had to work in unbearable conditions and have received unlivable wages. You have paid Argentina in your blood and work, but what has Argentina done for you? I have recognized your struggles and work, and I strive to bring you out of the darkness. Under my presidency the workers of Argentina will finally received what they have deserved for all this time. Now is your time! The laborers of Argentina need their recognition! Viva Argentina!
