Speech Preview

There is hope for a better tomorrow; and this hope is possible through the idea of populism. Populism has made a large impact already throughout Latin America. The idea of populism has changed the way politics worked in Latin America, and also greatly changed the economy of the countries. Populists leaders are very strong and held a very high authority among Latin American countries. They are able to hold on to the past culture, while at the same time reforming the country without causing a massive revolution. These populist leaders use their power to receive support from the wealthy, and yet still help the urban classes without causing an uproar. These leaders include people like, Juan Domingo and Eva Person, Gutulio Vargas, Lazaro Cardenas and many more. These leaders also helped their countries in many different ways. By enacting different laws and helping the less fortunate, populists are soon seen as protectors of the the people, and even as "fathers" and "mothers" of their countries. These policies have created a new and improved economy for the countries and pushing for an even greater populist government would create a brighter future for our whole nation!
