Education Proposal for Brazil.

Public Education including the teaching of Eugenics and purification

My fellow senators of the senate of 1892, today we will bring before you a proposal that will change our nation and propel it into modern society. Look around Brazil; we are not living in a modern society. Our people are living in dirt and shame, uneducated and illiterate. As the greater race we have an obligation to improve the lot of the races below us, the mestizos, blacks, poor whites, and natives. What we have to propose today will affect Brazilian society forever, changing it for the better. Please listen closely to our proposal and I am sure you will support us.
We believe that in order to install our beliefs into society we must install a government school system that will educate everyone in Brazil. It would be a state sponsored school system, paid for and provided by the government of Brazil. Taxes may need to be raised in order to meet the demand for money to install the system. But society will benefit much more in the long run, raising more money for Brazil. As well as Math, science and history, we would teach Eugenics and the purification of society. The people of Brazil need to understand the states plan for our nation, which includes promoting the superiority of the white race. We want to help create a better race. We want to support procreation only between those of whites, and disapprove of racial mixing. Through our teaching we hope that society will become whiter over time. . Some of our ideas have been influenced by Kehl, who founded the Eugenics movement. We will not teach Catholicism, we want to influence them to remove their Catholic identity, all identity to the Iberians. We will also teach morals to the students, instructing in the evils of vice. We will promote strong, healthy people, especially women so they can be strong child bearers. We want strong children that will produce strong children, thus making society stronger and stronger over time. We will teach the non-whites and the poor whites how to properly bath and clean themselves. We will teach the value of leading a family life-style, and maintaining a clean household. We will also teach the benefits of science and how all things should be viewed through science, sine it is a subject that tells no lies.

If something cannot be explained via science, then it is not real. We will show the students the scientific studies showing that whites are the better race. Though many scientific studies of both bodies from all races it was easy to find out who among the world bred the smartest, healthiest, and most athletic race, whites of course. Since we have been proven through these extensive studies that we are the most superior race it should be our responsibility to educate everyone. If Brazil allows a mandatory eugenics education I believe we can help everyone understand why were are superior and help other races understand how they may become more civilized too. Science will be paramount in our school system and it will have the duty to teach simply the truth.

It is not hard to tell by looking around this beautiful but unequal (in terms of being civilized) country that we need to help the black race. The reason why I believe we should focus our attention on this race is because their uncivilized way of life is providing a bad image on our proud nation. If we were to education this population on eugenics as well, I believe they may stand a chance to be considered functioning members of society. The teachings for the black population could include many lessons that intend of making them behave more like us white people. We can start with the basics such as cleaning ones self and maybe one day eventually branch out into more extensive lessons that could pertain to the superiority of the white race. If these people can find a way to live outside of the Quilombos and behave in a European manner I believe they might have a chance in being a part of the superior race that we are intending on creating in the near future of Brazil.

As you can see from the arguments I’ve made, there is no consequences that can arise from the teachings of eugenics to the masses of Brazil. This kind of learning is an important part of our society, since it teaches us about the social order that needs to be implemented in our growing country. It would only make sense for us to only put the strongest and most intelligent people in charge of our country, and a bill passed to mandate this education to our people of our groundbreaking scientific discoveries might very well be needed. Since our country of Brazil is one filled with so much diversity, it only seems natural for us to use our superiority for good, and educate everyone about the power of eugenics. These studies can help everyone, since they have the intentions of helping everyone move toward the progress of creating a new and civilized nation where we do not keep the secret of becoming civilized a secret. Since this section of science can relate and help everyone, it would only seem cynical to not allow everyone with its power. I hope you will all vote in our favor, and i look forward to implementing the education system.
